RISK RADAR · WEEKLY RISK INTELLIGENCE
Every week. Every FCA firm with a Companies House link. What changed, up front.
Risk Radar re-assesses the FCA-regulated firms we track against fresh Companies House and FCA information. The weekly file shows the current risk picture and, crucially, which firms have moved since the previous run.
Why Weekly Movement Matters
A spreadsheet can tell you where a firm sits today. It can't tell you what changed.
When you watch thousands of firms, the one moving from Medium to High is the one to catch, and it is easy to miss among the rows that stayed the same. Risk Radar does the comparison for you and puts the change at the top of the file.

Summary
How many companies sit in each tier this week. -
Movers
Who changed tier since last week, and why, with firms that have just become insolvent or closed listed on their own. -
Detail
Every active company, one row per FRN, with every indicator behind its score. -
Insolvent or closed, and Insufficient data
Firms that can't be given a tier stay visible on their own tabs, not dropped from the file. -
Legend
Every tier, flag and reason code explained.
What This Means for You
🎯 Spot the Firm That's Slipping, Early
A firm moving from Low to Medium, or Medium to High, goes to the top of your file the week it moves, not months later in an annual review.
📊 Stop Comparing Spreadsheets
No keeping last week's file, no VLOOKUPs, no scrolling through thousands of unchanged rows. The comparison is done before the file reaches you.
💬 Know Why, Not Just What
Plain-language reasons come with every move, and every FCA reason names the FRN it comes from, so you know where to start the conversation with the firm and what to ask.
🚨 Identify Newly Reported Insolvencies
Firms reported as entering liquidation, administration or another insolvency process since last week are listed separately at the top of Movers, so they never get lost among routine tier changes.
🏢 One Assessment per Company
A company holding several FRNs gets a single score, with its FCA information combined across all of them. No conflicting ratings for the same business.
⏱️ Put Your Team's Time Where It Counts
Whether it's advisers on your panel, counterparties or new relationships, review time goes to the firms with the strongest warning signs.
Reading Your File
Every active company sits in one of three tiers, giving a 12-month view:

Why You Can Rely on It
-
Built on genuine insolvencies
The model learns from real liquidations and administrations, not from firms that simply closed, so indicators earn their place by their link to actual failures. -
Tiers move for real reasons
The tier thresholds are fixed and don't drift week to week. A company changes tier when its own information changes, and any model release is clearly labelled in the file. -
Large institutions handled sensibly
A major bank or insurer isn't shown as High on its score alone. It takes a current warning sign, such as negative net assets or a severe FCA restriction. -
A prompt, not a verdict
Scores rank firms for review; they aren't probabilities of failure. A High rating doesn't mean a firm will fail. It tells you where your review time is best spent.
A Real Case: ITI Capital Limited
On 25 September 2026, FCA-regulated investment firm ITI Capital entered special administration. Six days earlier, Risk Radar had already placed it in the High tier. This is the row as it appeared in the file.
